This week is all about time: typing it faster, seeing it in the right time zone and catching date conflicts before they turn into double bookings. You’ll also find a new All messages folder in projects, a home screen logo that fits and a round of fixes.

Faster time entry on calendar and appointments. Setting a time used to mean scrolling down from 12 AM every time. Now you can type the time the way you’d say it (3, 315, 3.15, 3:15p and 15:15 all work) or pick it from hour, minute and AM/PM columns. Times follow your brand’s locale and time zone, and changing the date keeps the time you already picked.

Dates and times follow your workspace’s time zone. This one has been a long time coming. The date and time pickers used to work off your browser’s time zone, which got confusing if you were traveling or working with a team in different places. Every date and time picker in Dubsado now displays and saves according to your workspace’s time zone, the same way it worked in Dubsado 2.0. If your browser is in a different time zone than your workspace, you’ll see a note anywhere you pick a date or time, so you always know which time zone you’re booking in. It's fancy now... or more so, just working as it should.
All messages folder. Emails you sent that never got a reply used to sit under Sent, which made it easy to lose track of where a conversation stood. Messages now has an All messages folder that lists every thread for a project or contact, sent and received, newest first. Project messages open there by default, so you see the full back and forth with a client as soon as you open the project.
Sidebar on more screens. The expanded sidebar now shows on screens 1280px wide and up (it used to need 1536px), so more laptops get the full
navigation.
Home screen logo fits your logo’s shape. Wide and tall logos were getting cropped into a square on the home screen, which cut off part of your branding. Your logo now scales to fit the space at its real proportions, so a long wordmark or a tall stacked logo shows up whole.
Project date conflicts. Conflict checking now catches all day project dates against timed ones, and timed ones against all day dates. It uses your brand’s calendar day so evening dates stay on the right day, and it includes projects and appointments that have no end date.
Navigation dropdown. The menu in the app header opens on hover, and clicking it right after no longer snaps it shut. Moving your mouse away no longer leaves the button highlighted.
Uploading several images at once. Big batches of image uploads were slowing each other down until some failed. Uploads now process a couple at a time and queue up behind each other.
Editing a project location on iPad. The copy and edit buttons next to a project location now show on touch screens, so you can edit a location on an iPad.
Flow template action order. Reordering actions in a flow template now sticks after a refresh, including on older templates brought over from Dubsado 2.0.
Add to calendar link in rescheduled emails. The “Add event to your calendar” link in rescheduled appointment emails opens the calendar page again.
Saves after visiting project reports. After visiting Insights and then Project reports, creating a project, source or other record showed an error even though it saved. The error is gone.
Special characters in the activity log. Apostrophes, quotes, ampersands and angle brackets in names now read normally in activity log entries.
Dubsado 2.0 help docs have moved out of the help center. You can still get to them by chatting with Dubbie. A deeper help center update is on the way to answer more of your questions clearly as well as a deeper look into what makes Dubbie tick so it can serve you better! Lil' robot needs it's routine tune up.
