This round covers a lot of ground. You can now switch a flow action's type without rebuilding it, see date conflicts while you pick a project date and sort your projects list by status. We also fixed a long list of bugs across invoicing, forms, email and scheduling.

Improvements

Change a flow action to a different type. If you picked the wrong action type in a flow, you can now switch it from the action's header. The new action keeps the same spot in the flow, and nothing is removed until it saves.

Date conflicts show up in the date picker. When you set or change a project date, any conflicting projects appear right in the date picker, so you can catch a double booking before you save. This shows when the date conflict checker is turned on for your brand.

Company column and status sorting on the projects list. The projects list has a company column again, and you can sort by status in either direction. The company column stays hidden unless you already had it turned on.

Tax filter and new sorts on transactions. Filter transactions by tax, and sort by contact, project or category. Your tax and category filters now carry through to the CSV export.

Assignee names in task views. Table and board views show the assignee's full name next to their profile icon, so teammates with similar initials are easy to tell apart.

Faster start on new emails. The email composer opens with your cursor in the To field, and contact suggestions appear as soon as you click into To or Cc.

Vancouver time zone. America/Vancouver is now in the time zone picker under US/Canada.

Office 365 calendar update notice. If your Office 365 calendar needs to be re-authorized for Microsoft's new API, Dubsado now tells you and gives you a one-click link to update it. As of October 1, syncing is paused for connections that still need the update.

Location data removed from uploaded photos. GPS coordinates, device details and capture time are removed from images when you upload them, so a shared file link can't reveal where a photo was taken. Your photos look exactly the same.

Safer file uploads. Files that contain programs or macros are now refused at upload, which protects you and your clients from downloading something harmful. Images and PDFs preview in the browser, and other file types download.

Bug fixes

Invoicing, payments and accounting

Autopay keeps running after invoice edits. Editing an invoice, recording a payment, issuing a refund or changing project dates no longer causes autopay to skip the next installment.

Tips are left out of payment plan installments. Percentage and split-evenly installments were including gratuity, so the project view showed a higher balance than your client owed. Installments now match the public invoice.

Empty invoices are removed when a lead is archived. Archiving a lead now deletes its $0 invoices with no line items, and the invoice list updates right away.

Correct totals in the chart of accounts export. Net profit and uncollectible amounts were exporting 100x too large, and net profit was adding expenses instead of subtracting them. The export now matches what you see on screen.

New expense categories file as expenses. Creating a category from an expense transaction now saves it under expenses instead of revenue.

Connect Square without disconnecting PayPal. Square is available again in Settings > Payments and invoices while PayPal is connected.

Every QuickBooks tax code imports. Connecting QuickBooks now brings over all of your tax codes instead of stopping at the first 200.

More reliable QuickBooks connection. Connecting or reconnecting QuickBooks now confirms the account matches your workspace. If an attempt expires, you'll see a clear failed state and can retry right away.

Xero settings stay with the right brand. If you connect two brands to two Xero organizations under one Xero login, each brand now loads its own chart of accounts, tax rates and income categories.

Projects and calendar

The full list of project sources is reachable. The bottom of the source dropdown was cut off, so the last source could only be found by searching. The list now scrolls all the way through in the project details panel, the projects table and the calendar.

Clear a project date that needs approval. The approve project date modal now lets you clear the date in one step, and the project stops showing as pending approval on the calendar and in action items.

Calendar year picker works everywhere. Picking a year now moves the calendar as expected, and date filters reopen on the month you had selected instead of today.

New project and new contact modals stay on screen. Expanding additional details no longer pushes the Create button off the bottom of the screen.

Portal passwords save in Safari. Setting or changing a portal password from the project overview page now saves.

Video conferencing links work in every brand. If the same conferencing calendar is connected to more than one brand, one brand could stop generating meeting links. Opening Settings > Integrations now restores it or prompts you to reconnect.

Forms and proposals

Custom field mappings appear and save. Custom mapped fields sometimes went missing from the field mapping dropdown, and saved mappings could come back blank when you reopened a form. Both are fixed.

Proposal templates from the library save correctly. Proposals saved from the template library can now be edited and saved in the form builder without an error, and new copies start clean.

Duplicated form templates are editable. Copies of templates saved from a signed contract were arriving marked complete, which blocked every save. Duplicates now start fresh with no client answers or signatures.

Images and logos with special characters display. Background images, project cover images and logos now show correctly when the file name includes parentheses, apostrophes or non-Latin characters.

Form chat allows its full request limit. The form builder's chat assistant now allows 20 requests a minute instead of cutting off at five.

Email

Emails sent through your own mail server report correctly. With custom SMTP, the composer showed an error after the email had already gone out, so emails often got sent twice. Sends now report success, and bulk sends report each recipient accurately.

Sent emails match the editor's text size. Text left at the default size now arrives in the same font and size you see in the editor. Sent messages in your message threads display correctly too.

Email signatures keep their formatting. Custom HTML signatures keep their table and image widths, colors pasted from Word carry over and pasted images stay put.

Scheduling

Scheduler group invitations include the booking link. New scheduler group templates now start from your brand's own invitation email with a working link. Before, the default email showed the link as plain text, so clients had nothing to click.

Schedulers sent through project links are marked as sent. Adding a scheduler or scheduler group with the project links button now marks it as sent and shows it in the client portal.

Workflows and tasks

Workflow send dates update on template push. Switching a workflow template action to a fixed send date and pushing the update no longer leaves the action without a date, which was pausing the workflow.

Tasks created from a contact stay with that contact. Creating a task from a contact's tasks tab now asks you to pick one of that contact's projects, so the task keeps its link to the contact.

Dark mode

Readable text in more places. Form builder settings, the font and paragraph menus in the form builder and email editor, and the time tracker's Start, Pause and Resume button are all legible in dark mode.

Everything else

No more errors from a tab left open. A tab left open during an update now brings itself up to the current version, with a refresh banner when it needs your go-ahead.

Search resets when you reopen it. Your old search no longer sits in the search bar after you click a result and come back.

Steadier collapsed sidebar. The join call widget no longer shifts the layout when the sidebar is collapsed.
