The small stuff adds up. This month part of our team focused on bringing 3.0 to parity with 2.0, closing dozens of little gaps across scheduling, payments, email, and more. Each fix on its own is tiny. Together they smooth out the parts of your day you shouldn't have to think about.

Improvements

Manually logged payments now sync to your accounting integration. Payments you record directly in the Dubsado push automatically to Xero and QuickBooks, closing a gap where only edited payments synced.

Remove tax items from line items. Taxes applied from deleted or legacy tax records now show a removable chip, so you can tidy up your line items.

Autopay cancels automatically when a payment processor is disconnected. Disconnecting Square or Dubsado Payments cancels any active autopay tied to it, so nothing tries to charge your clients on a disconnected account.

Scheduler groups now appear in project email links. Applied scheduler groups show up in the Project Links selector when you compose an email, so you can drop a group booking link straight into the message.

Cancelled appointments are visible again in project and contact views. They show up in your project and contact event tabs with a "Cancelled" badge, matching how 2.0 worked.

Client details are included on re-synced project events. When project events re-sync to your calendar, the client's details come along.

Calendar events are sorted by start time within each day.

Deleted-status projects now show in the no-status group. Projects with a deleted status appear in the no-status group and count toward your funnel metrics.

Clear the assigned user in the Create Task action. You can now remove the assigned user from the Create Task workflow action.

A heads-up before pushing workflow template changes to active projects. When you update a workflow template and push changes to running projects, you'll see a clear notice that triggered actions can't be undone.

An email when your AI notetaker can't join a meeting. If Note Taker can't join, you'll get an email explaining why in plain language instead of the meeting going quietly unrecorded.

Bug fixes

Scheduler availability now respects your brand time zone. Availability hours follow the time zone set in Calendar & time zone settings instead of your browser's local time zone.

Scheduler availability saves on every browser and at midnight. Fixed time zone bugs that broke saves on non-English browsers and created invalid slots ending exactly at midnight.

Scheduler date ranges now save correctly. Date range changes on booking pages of scheduler templates built in 2.0 now save and stick in 3.0 instead of reverting after you leave the page.

Scheduler calendar events now show real client and project names. Synced scheduler events fill in smart fields like job title and client name instead of showing raw template text.

Calendar sync settings no longer get stuck on "Syncing." Saving import and export settings no longer spins forever when the calendar was previously tied to a different user account.

Calendar event status dropdown shows your full lead status list. It was capped at 25 items, and now it loads all of your lead statuses.

Editing appointments with no conferencing provider no longer crashes. Appointments booked through legacy 2.0 schedulers without a conferencing provider could crash on edit. Fixed.

Appointment reminder emails still send after edits. Editing an appointment no longer deletes its scheduled reminders. They're kept on edit and recalculated on reschedule.

Video conferencing links no longer get stuck. Appointments stuck on "Preparing conferencing link..." now recover, and there's an in-app retry button.

The home page no longer crashes for untitled calendar events. The Events widget handles synced events with no title instead of crashing the page.

Payments stay put after you edit an invoice. Editing an invoice soon after recording a payment no longer wipes the payment.

Selecting taxes on packages with deleted tax items no longer crashes. If a package references a tax item that no longer exists, picking a tax in the line-item editor works without erroring out.

The "Autopay cancelled" email now reaches your clients. When you turn off autopay on a payment plan, your client gets the notice.

Signed hardcopy contracts now trigger payment plan due dates. Installments set to trigger "X days after contract signed" calculate correctly when you upload a signed PDF, so autopay and reminders schedule as expected.

The project link invoice dropdown shows all your invoices. The dropdown no longer goes empty, and form links show their correct type (Questionnaire, Proposal, Sub-agreement, and so on) instead of labeling everything "Contract."

The email sidebar preview shows the first message. The preview shows the first message in a thread instead of the most recent reply.

Saved email drafts reopen with your content. Reopening a draft reply shows the full body you typed instead of a blank or signature-only composer.

Signature images keep their size in received emails. Images resized in the signature builder hold their dimensions in received message threads.

CC recipients stay on scheduled emails. Scheduling an email with CC addresses keeps those recipients at send time.

Duplicate button fixed when editing an email link. Saving a button in the email editor updates the existing one instead of inserting a second copy.

Notification emails go to the correct address. Notifications now send to the address set in your notification settings.

Bulk "Mark as read" no longer records false client opens. Marking threads as read in bulk stops writing a false "last opened" time, keeping your sent-email activity accurate.

Applying workflow templates is more reliable. Fewer intermittent failures when applying workflow templates to projects, even when database load is high.

The easy form building tool no longer adds a second contract. The Easy Form Creation tool checks for an existing contract before applying one, so you don't get a stray duplicate.

Form expiration reminders copy correctly from templates. Reminders come along when a form template is applied to a project, and clean up when a form, contract, or project is deleted.

Meeting summaries display correctly. Note Taker summaries that sometimes failed to render now show up.

Turning off client portal keeps the saved password. Deactivating portal access only changes the active state, so the saved password stays.
